1. What We Collect

Receipt data: Restaurant name, item names, prices, quantities. Extracted by AI from your receipt photo.
Your name and emoji: For display to other table members. You choose these yourself.
Device ID: A random identifier for anonymous use. Not linked to your real identity.
Email or phone (optional): Only if you choose to create an account.
Ratings and comments: When you rate meals.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

Receipt photos are deleted immediately after AI processing. We never store your photos.
We do not access your location, contacts, microphone, or any other device data.
Credit card numbers detected in receipts are automatically masked before processing.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

3. How We Use Your Data

To split bills among table members.
To show your history and favorite meals.
To display ads (Google AdMob). Ad personalization follows Google's policies.
To improve our AI receipt scanning accuracy.

4. Advertising

We show ads via Google AdMob to keep the app free. Google may use device identifiers for ad personalization as described in their privacy policy. Premium subscribers see no ads.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / KVKK)

Right to access: View all your data in the app (History section).
Right to delete: Delete your account and all associated data from Settings. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
Right to export: Export your data as JSON from Settings.
Right to withdraw consent: Stop using the app at any time. Your anonymous data (device_id) can be deleted on request.

7. Children

Snap Split your Bill is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with the updated date.
